Thanks, Tranz. I have a 500 gb USB hard drive attached and partitioned a large area for swap and another area for file storage. I cannot tell that insufficient ram is an issue at all.

I think swap helps a lot in combination with a classic HDD/SSD, because HDD has a much better properties for smaller files than Pi integrated eMMC. Small files is the case with crypto.

Now swap + SSD and I would think you dont even need any ram :D

too bad Tronsmart doesnt have swap enabled
