I'm still building the list.  I've just been slammed responding to people's informational questions.  There are other miners, some specific to certain coins.  Check back often, hopefully this weekend I will be able to finish the list.

I think a great one for people with Envidia cards to use is cudaminer. This is for scrypt mining.

It's one that takes advantage of the cuda sdk (AFAIK). While envidia cards have far lower hashs Vs. ATI, this tool somewhat makes the bit hurt a bit less.

Worth noting on the cgminer front that if you want to use it for scrypt you need version 3.7.2, not the latest. (Use it using --scrypt) - I think there's a fork of it but it's not really up to scratch atm.

The number crunching capabilities built into modern GPU's give them an edge in mining that is overwhelming. Among the CPU miners I have found little difference in hash rate, which depends more on your hardware power, and RAM. In the end I settled on CPUminer, which comes in 32bit and 64bit versions.

For Windows users, I suggest using CGwatcher with CGminer.

I just started mining and it is easier with a GUI for me :)

This shouldn't be pinned if it's not being updated. There are so more miners out there than mentioned here. Scrypt_n and Scrypt-Jane miners are different as well.

Hi all I am trying to solo mine TeaCoin and I am having major issues. Can someone help.

My settings are as follows.

My Config file is.

port=7921
rpcport=7920
rpcuser=ltndd1
rpcpassword=ltndd1
addnode=66.85.164.76
addnode=emiko.dyndns.info
addnode=184.95.40.150
addnode=64.59.101.23

I have this file saved in my teacoin folder.

My bfg miner is set to

"C:\Users\Dee\Downloads\bfgminer-3.10.0-win64 (1)\bfgminer-3.10.0-win64\bfgminer.exe" -o stratum+tcp://98.238.92.176:7920 -u ltndd1 -p ltndd1 -S all --icarus-options 115200:1:1 --icarus-timing 3.0=100

When I run my BFG miner to start solo mining It attempts to connect but says it can not find the URL or I do not have my Workers set up.

Any Ideas.

Please help me I have been trying this for weeks and can not figure it out. Thanks
